SBI PO Examination is conducted by the SBI every year to select candidates for the post of probationary officer across the country.
SBI PO Recruitment Notification: The State Bank of India (SBI) conducts the recruitment of eligible and dynamic candidates for the post of PO. SBI PO Exam is that it a 2 tier process comprising of Prelims and the Main Online Exam. No interview is held for selection for this post. The SBI PO Recruitment is done on the basis of state and union territory where candidates have to apply for the vacancy in one of the states or union territories while filling up the online application forms.

SBI PO 2021 Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
A Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a University recognized by the Govt. Of India or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.
Candidates should have a valid Mark-sheet / Degree: Certificate which supports that they are graduates on the day they were registered for the exam. The percentage of marks obtained in Graduation should be mentioned at the time of registration for the SBI Bank-PO examination.
SBI PO Selection Procedure: Important Points
The candidates should keep in mind the following points related to the SBI PO selection process:
• Biometric Verification: To ensure an error-free and secure selection procedure for SBI PO 2021, the bank may digitally capture the thumb impression of the candidate. This is done to verify the genuineness of the candidates. Any inconsistency in the biometric verification will lead to rejection of the candidature and punitive legal actions. Candidates are thus advised not to apply any kind of external matter like ink, mehandi, chemical etc. on their hands.
• Number of Attempts: The maximum number of chances are fixed for each category. Candidates who have used up all the chances are not eligible to apply. Appearing in Preliminary Exam is not counted as an attempt but appearing in Mains Exam is counted.

Candidates applying for SBI CWE/Bank PO Examination should be one of the following:
1. Citizen of India
2. The subject of Nepal or Bhutan
3. Tibetan Refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanent settlement
4. Person of Indian Origin (PIO) who has migrated from Burma, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Vietnam or East African countries of Zaire, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Ethiopia, Malawi, with the intention of permanent settlement in India
Candidates belonging to the category 2, 3, 4 must have a certificate of eligibility issued by the Govt of India in their favor.

The category wise fee structure for SBI PO online application is given below. Fee/Intimation charges once paid will NOT be refunded on any account nor can it be held in reserve for any other examination or selection. The application fee must be paid online itself. SBI PO Job Profile & Salary in Hand 2021
SBI PO Salary Structure in Details
The beginning salary, basic pay of SBI PO is Rs 27620. With four advance increments in the compensation size of 23700-980 (7) – 30560 – 1145 (2) – 32850 – 1310 (7) – 42020. This means the PO will get a basic of Rs 23700 with an increment of Rs 980 for the next 7 years, followed by a basic of Rs 30560 with an annual increment of Rs 1145 for the next two years and so on. The maximum basic salary will be Rs 42020.
SBI PO In Hand Salary
Approximately, a total of Rs 40000 to 42000 salary is the monthly in-hand salary of SBI PO. The Gross compensation received lies between 8.20 Lakhs (minimum) to Rs. 13.08 lakhs (maximum) per annum. The amount varies with the location of job posting.
SBI PO Allowances
The salary includes a number of allowances that contributes to the total sum. These are some standard allowances that a Probationary officer in SBI gets along with the basic amount. These include:
