1. AIIMS Delhi becomes first Indian hospital to house fire station inside premises
The All India Institute of Medical Science, New Delhi has become the first hospital of India to house a fire station inside the hospital premises, to meet any emergency. For this, AIIMS has collaborated with Delhi Fire Service.

2. Government announces ‘Prime Minister Gatishakti Scheme’
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced a Rs 100 lakh crore Pradhan Mantri Gatishakti scheme while addressing the nation on the 75th Independence Day. Gati Shakti will be a national infrastructure master plan for our country that will lay the foundation of holistic infrastructure and will lead to an integrated and holistic pathway to our economy.

3. Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel announces 4 new districts
Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has announced the creation of four new districts and 18 new tehsils in the state. The four new districts are: Mohla Manpur, Sarangarh-Bilaigarh, Shakti, Manendragarh. With the creation of four new districts, the total number of administrative districts in the state have reached 32.

4. Venkaiah Naidu laid foundation stone of Innovation and Development Centre
The Vice President of India, M Venkaiah Naidu laid the foundation stone of the Innovation and Development Centre of Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research, Bengaluru. The JNCASR Innovation and Development Centre will be developed into a facility where laboratory inventions will be taken forward for scale-up and technology transfer, and in turn help in meeting the missions of “Make in India” and “Aatmanirbhar Bharat”.

5. Narendra Singh Tomar inaugurates world’s second-largest refurbished gene bank

7. RBI cancels license of Raigad based Karnala Nagari Sahakari Bank
The Reserve Bank of India has cancelled the license of Raigad based Karnala Nagari Sahakari Bank Limited in Maharashtra. As informed by the Reserve Bank of India, the license of Karnala Nagari Sahakari Bank was cancelled due to insufficient capital and earning prospects and its continuance would have adversely affected depositors.

8. RBI imposes ₹1 crore penalty on Cooperatieve Rabobank U.A
RBI imposed a monetary penalty of ₹1 crore on Cooperatieve Rabobank UA. Its Mumbai Branch is a part of the Netherlands-based Rabobank Group. The penalty has been imposed for contravention of certain provisions of the Banking Regulation Act, 1949 and directions related to ‘transfer to reserve funds’.

9. Hockey star Vandana Katariya made U’khand Women & Child Development ambassador
Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has announced that Indian women’s hockey team player Vandana Katariya will be the brand ambassador of the state’s Department of Women Empowerment and Child Development.

10. Harshit Raja becomes India’s 69th Chess Grandmaster
The 20-year-old Chess player Harshit Raja from Pune, Maharashtra has become the 69th Grandmaster of India in Chess. Grandmaster title is awarded to chess players by the world chess organization FIDE and is the highest title a chess player can attain.

अखिल भारतीय आयुर्विज्ञान संस्थान, नई दिल्ली किसी भी आपात स्थिति से निपटने के लिए अस्पताल परिसर के अंदर एक फायर स्टेशन रखने वाला भारत का पहला अस्पताल बन गया है। इसके लिए एम्स ने दिल्ली फायर सर्विस के साथ गठजोड़ किया है।

2. सरकार ने की ‘प्रधानमंत्री गतिशक्ति योजना’ घोषणा की
प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने 75वें स्वतंत्रता दिवस पर लाल किले से देश को संबोधित करते हुए 100 लाख करोड़ रुपये की प्रधानमंत्री गतिशक्ति योजना की घोषणा की है। गति शक्ति हमारे देश के लिए एक राष्ट्रीय बुनियादी ढांचा मास्टर प्लान होगा जो समग्र बुनियादी ढांचे की नींव रखेगा और हमारी अर्थव्यवस्था के लिए एक एकीकृत और समग्र मार्ग का नेतृत्व करेगा।

3. छत्तीसगढ़ के मुख्यमंत्री भूपेश बघेल ने घोषणा की 4 नए जिलों की
छत्तीसगढ़ के मुख्यमंत्री भूपेश बघेल ने राज्य में चार नए जिले और 18 नई तहसीलें बनाने की घोषणा की है. चार नए जिले हैं: मोहला मानपुर, सारंगढ़-बिलाईगढ़, शक्ति, मनेंद्रगढ़। चार नए जिले बनने के साथ ही राज्य में प्रशासनिक जिलों की कुल संख्या 32 हो गई है।

4. वेंकैया नायडू ने नवाचार और विकास केंद्र की आधारशिला रखी
भारत के उपराष्ट्रपति, एम वेंकैया नायडू ने जवाहरलाल नेहरू सेंटर फॉर एडवांस्ड साइंटिफिक रिस, बेंगलुरु के नवाचार और विकास केंद्र की आधारशिला रखी। JNCASR इनोवेशन एंड डेवलपमेंट सेंटर को एक ऐसी सुविधा के रूप में विकसित किया जाएगा जहां प्रयोगशाला आविष्कारों को स्केल-अप और प्रौद्योगिकी हस्तांतरण के लिए आगे बढ़ाया जाएगा, और बदले में “मेक इन इंडिया” और “आत्मनिर्भर भारत” के मिशनों को पूरा करने में मदद मिलेगी।

5. नरेंद्र सिंह तोमर ने दुनिया के दूसरे सबसे बड़े रीफर्बिश्ड जीन बैंक का उद्घाटन किया
केंद्रीय कृषि और किसान कल्याण मंत्री, नरेंद्र सिंह तोमर ने राष्ट्रीय पादप आनुवंशिक संसाधन ब्यूरो, पूसा, नई दिल्ली में दुनिया के दूसरे सबसे बड़े राष्ट्रीय जीन बैंक का उद्घाटन किया। रीफर्बिश्ड स्टेट-ऑफ-द-आर्ट नेशनल जीन बैंक शून्य से 20 डिग्री सेल्सियस तापमान में वर्षों तक बीजों की विरासत को सुरक्षित रखने के लिए जर्मप्लाज्म की सुविधा प्रदान करता है।

6. HDFC ने ‘ग्रीन एंड सस्टेनेबल’ सावधि जमा का अनावरण किया
एचडीएफसी बैंक ने पर्यावरण को जलवायु परिवर्तन से बचाने के लिए ‘हरित और सतत जमा’ शुरू करने की घोषणा की है। इन सावधि जमाओं को हरित और स्थायी आवास ऋण समाधान और सेवाओं के वित्तपोषण के लिए निर्देशित किया जाएगा।

7. आरबीआई ने रद्द किया रायगढ़ स्थित करनाला नगरी सहकारी बैंक का लाइसेंस
भारतीय रिजर्व बैंक ने महाराष्ट्र में रायगढ़ स्थित करनाला नगरी सहकारी बैंक लिमिटेड का लाइसेंस रद्द कर दिया है। जैसा कि भारतीय रिजर्व बैंक द्वारा सूचित किया गया था, अपर्याप्त पूंजी और कमाई की संभावनाओं के कारण करनाला नगरी सहकारी बैंक का लाइसेंस रद्द कर दिया गया था और इसके जारी रहने से जमाकर्ताओं पर प्रतिकूल प्रभाव पड़ेगा।

8. आरबीआई ने सहकारी राबोबैंक यूए पर ₹1 करोड़ का जुर्माना लगाया
आरबीआई ने सहकारी राबोबैंक यूए पर ₹1 करोड़ का मौद्रिक जुर्माना लगाया। इसकी मुंबई शाखा नीदरलैंड स्थित राबोबैंक समूह का एक हिस्सा है। बैंकिंग विनियमन अधिनियम, 1949 के कुछ प्रावधानों और ‘आरक्षित निधियों के हस्तांतरण’ से संबंधित निर्देशों के उल्लंघन के लिए जुर्माना लगाया गया है।

9. हॉकी स्टार वंदना कटारिया बनीं उत्तराखंड महिला एवं बाल विकास की एंबेसडर
उत्तराखंड के मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने घोषणा की है कि भारतीय महिला हॉकी टीम की खिलाड़ी वंदना कटारिया राज्य के महिला अधिकारिता और बाल विकास विभाग की ब्रांड एंबेसडर होंगी।

10. हर्षित राजा बने भारत के 69वें शतरंज ग्रैंडमास्टर
पुणे, महाराष्ट्र के 20 वर्षीय शतरंज खिलाड़ी हर्षित राजा शतरंज में भारत के 69वें ग्रैंडमास्टर बन गए हैं। विश्व शतरंज संगठन FIDE द्वारा शतरंज खिलाड़ियों को ग्रैंडमास्टर की उपाधि से सम्मानित किया जाता है और यह सर्वोच्च खिताब है जिसे एक शतरंज खिलाड़ी प्राप्त कर सकता है।
