International Day of Mathematics is observed on March 14

J&K govt approves interest-free loan worth two lakh rupees for beneficiaries of PMAY-U
Jammu and Kashmir government has approved a proposal to provide interest-free loan up to 2 lakh rupees to the urban homeless economically weaker section beneficiaries under Beneficiary Led Construction (BLC) component of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Urban (PMAY-U).
Agreement signed for development of Sewage Treatment Plants in UP’s Moradabad
A tripartite Concession Agreement has been signed between the National Mission for Clean Ganga (NMCG), Uttar Pradesh Jal Nigam and GA Infra Private Limited-Lahoti Buildcon Limited for development of Sewage Treatment Plants (STPs) for Moradabad. The contract was awarded at a total cost of 99.68 crore rupees.
“Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan” programme held at J&K’s Budgam
In the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, a day-long “Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan” programme was held at Budgam. The event was inaugurated by District Development Commissioner Shahbaz Ahmad Mirza and was jointly organized by Social Welfare Department and District Administration in collaboration with the Department of Health and many NGOs.
CCEA approves ₹9,129 cr for Arunachal, Sikkim intra-state electricity network
The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) approved a revised cost estimate of ₹9,129.32 crore for strengthening intra state electricity transmission and distribution network of Arunachal Pradesh and Sikkim.
Government announces “All India Tourist Vehicles Authorization and Permit Rules, 2021” to be effective from April 01
The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has announced a new scheme for tourist vehicle operators, under which any tourist vehicle operator may apply for an “All India tourist authorization and permit” through online mode. The new set of rules will be known as “All India Tourist Vehicles Authorization and Permit Rules, 2021”. This will come into effect from April 01, 2021.

Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla inaugurated the 6th Mega-Health camp in Parliament House Annexe for super-specialist consultations for Parliamentarians. Deutsche Bank executes world’s first green hedge with Continuum
Deutsche Bank and Continuum Energy Levanter Pte Ltd, a subsidiary of Continuum Green Energy (Continuum), said they have executed the world’s first green hedging transaction, with a second party opinion based on a specially designed green hedge framework.
No requisition for printing currency notes of Rs 2000 placed in last 2-years
Government today informed that no requisition for printing currency notes of 2000 rupees has been placed in the last two years. This was stated by Minister of State for Finance Anurag Thakur in a written reply in Lok Sabha. Mr. Thakur added that 3 thousand 362 million currency notes of rupees 2 thousand denomination were in circulation on 30th March, 2018. He said that it constituted nearly 3.27 per cent of the currency in terms of volume. However, as on 26th February this year, the volume of the 2000 currency notes has come down at 2.01 per cent of the total currency.
NPCI launches UPI-Help on BHIM app for Grievance Redressal
The National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI), the umbrella entity for digital payments in India, has launched a new application named “UPI-Help” on BHIM UPI, which will act as a grievance redressal mechanism for the users of the BHIM application. Initially, UPI-Help has been made live on the BHIM app for the customers of State Bank of India, AXIS Bank, HDFC Bank, and ICICI Bank.
World’s fastest supercomputer “Fugaku’ begins operations
The world’s most powerful supercomputer named “Fugaku”, developed by Japanese scientific research institute RIKEN and Fujitsu, has been made available for research work. Fugaku will help the Japanese government to achieve its vision to establish an ultra-smart Society 5.0, where all people live safe and comfortable lives. Fugaku computer has 100 times the application performance of K supercomputer and is developed to implement high-resolution, long-duration and large-scale simulations.

Noted Kathakali artist Chemancheri Kunhiraman Nair passed away in Kozhikode, Kerala this morning. the 105-year old had won the hearts of Kathakali lovers for several decades for his mudras, charm and grace. Nation had awarded him with Padma Shri in 2017 for his contributions to Kathakali.

हर साल, 14. मार्च को अंतर्राष्ट्रीय गणित दिवस (IDM) मनाया जाता है। इस दिन की शुरुआत अंतर्राष्ट्रीय गणितीय संघ (IMU) द्वारा गणित की सुंदरता और महत्व और हर किसी के जीवन में इसकी आवश्यक भूमिका को मनाने के लिए की गई थी। 2021 का विषय “गणित के लिए एक बेहतर दुनिया” है।
15 मार्च को विश्व उपभोक्ता अधिकार दिवस मनाया जाता है
विश्व उपभोक्ता अधिकार दिवस हर साल 15 मार्च को मनाया जाता है ताकि उपभोक्ता अधिकारों और जरूरतों के बारे में वैश्विक जागरूकता बढ़ाई जा सके और दुनिया भर में उपभोक्ताओं को बाजार की गालियों से बचाया जा सके। विश्व उपभोक्ता अधिकार दिवस 2021 का विषय “प्लास्टिक प्रदूषण से निपटने” है।
राष्ट्रीय टीकाकरण दिवस 16 मार्च को मनाया जाता है
राष्ट्रीय टीकाकरण दिवस (जिसे राष्ट्रीय टीकाकरण दिवस भी कहा जाता है), भारत में हर साल 16 मार्च को मनाया जाता है, ताकि पूरे राष्ट्र को टीकाकरण का महत्व बताया जा सके। दिन पहली बार वर्ष 1995 में मनाया गया था। 1995 में भारत ने पल्स पोलियो कार्यक्रम शुरू किया था और ओरल पोलियो वैक्सीन की पहली खुराक दी गई थी।
जम्मू-कश्मीर सरकार ने PMAY-U के लाभार्थियों के लिए दो लाख रुपये के ब्याज मुक्त ऋण को मंजूरी दी
जम्मू और कश्मीर सरकार ने प्रधानमंत्री आवास योजना-शहरी (PMAY-U) के लाभार्थी एलईडी निर्माण (BLC) घटक के तहत शहरी बेघर आर्थिक रूप से कमजोर वर्ग के लाभार्थियों को 2 लाख रुपये तक का ब्याज-मुक्त ऋण देने के प्रस्ताव को मंजूरी दी है।
यूपी के मुरादाबाद में सीवेज ट्रीटमेंट प्लांट के विकास के लिए करार
मुरादाबाद में सीवेज ट्रीटमेंट प्लांट्स (एसटीपी) के विकास के लिए नेशनल मिशन फॉर क्लीन गंगा (एनएमसीजी), उत्तर प्रदेश जल निगम और जीए इंफ्रा प्राइवेट लिमिटेड-लाहोटी बिल्डकॉन लिमिटेड के बीच एक त्रिपक्षीय समझौते पर हस्ताक्षर किए गए हैं। अनुबंध को कुल 99.68 करोड़ रुपये की लागत से सम्मानित किया गया था।
जम्मू और कश्मीर के बडगाम में “नशा मुक्त भारत अभियान” कार्यक्रम
केंद्र शासित प्रदेश जम्मू और कश्मीर में, बडगाम में एक दिवसीय “नशा मुक्त भारत अभियान” कार्यक्रम आयोजित किया गया था। इस आयोजन का उद्घाटन जिला विकास आयुक्त शाहबाज़ अहमद मिर्ज़ा द्वारा किया गया था और स्वास्थ्य कल्याण विभाग और जिला प्रशासन द्वारा संयुक्त रूप से स्वास्थ्य विभाग और कई गैर सरकारी संगठनों के सहयोग से आयोजित किया गया था।
CCEA ने अरुणाचल, सिक्किम इंट्रा-स्टेट बिजली नेटवर्क के लिए, 9,129 करोड़ स्वीकृत किए
आर्थिक मामलों की मंत्रिमंडलीय समिति (CCEA) ने अरुणाचल प्रदेश और सिक्किम के अंतर राज्य बिजली पारेषण और वितरण नेटवर्क को मजबूत करने के लिए 12 9,129.32 करोड़ के संशोधित लागत अनुमान को मंजूरी दी।
सरकार ने “अखिल भारतीय पर्यटक वाहन प्राधिकरण और परमिट नियम, 2021” को 01 अप्रैल से प्रभावी होने की घोषणा की
सड़क परिवहन और राजमार्ग मंत्रालय ने पर्यटक वाहन ऑपरेटरों के लिए एक नई योजना की घोषणा की है, जिसके तहत कोई भी पर्यटक वाहन ऑपरेटर ऑनलाइन मोड के माध्यम से “अखिल भारतीय पर्यटक प्राधिकरण और परमिट” के लिए आवेदन कर सकता है। नियमों का नया सेट “अखिल भारतीय पर्यटक वाहन प्राधिकरण और परमिट नियम, 2021” के रूप में जाना जाएगा। यह 01 अप्रैल, 2021 से लागू होगा।

लोकसभा अध्यक्ष ओम बिरला ने संसद भवन एनेक्सी में संसद सदस्यों के लिए 6 वें मेगा-हेल्थ कैंप का उद्घाटन किया। राज्यसभा के उप सभापति हरिवंश नारायण सिंह, स्वास्थ्य मंत्री डॉ। हर्षवर्धन, संसदीय कार्य मंत्री प्रहलाद जोशी और स्वास्थ्य राज्य मंत्री अश्विनी कुमार चौबे कार्यक्रम में उपस्थित थे।
डॉयचे बैंक कॉन्टिनम के साथ दुनिया की पहली हरी बचाव का कार्य करता है
कॉन्टिनम ग्रीन एनर्जी (कॉन्टिनम) की सहायक कंपनी ड्यूश बैंक और कॉन्टिनम एनर्जी लेवान्टर पीटीई लिमिटेड ने कहा कि उन्होंने दुनिया की पहली ग्रीन हेजिंग लेनदेन को अंजाम दिया है, जिसमें विशेष रूप से डिजाइन किए गए हरे हेज ढांचे के आधार पर दूसरी पार्टी की राय है।
पिछले 2 वर्षों में 2000 रुपये के करेंसी नोटों की छपाई के लिए कोई आवश्यकता नहीं है
सरकार ने आज जानकारी दी कि पिछले दो वर्षों में 2000 रुपये के करेंसी नोट छापने की कोई अनिवार्यता नहीं रखी गई है। यह बात वित्त राज्य मंत्री अनुराग ठाकुर ने लोकसभा में एक लिखित जवाब में कही। श्री ठाकुर ने कहा कि 30 मार्च, 2018 को 2 हजार मूल्यवर्ग के 3 हजार 362 मिलियन करेंसी नोट प्रचलन में थे। उन्होंने कहा कि इसने मात्रा के संदर्भ में लगभग 3.27 प्रतिशत मुद्रा का गठन किया। हालांकि, इस साल 26 फरवरी तक 2000 के करेंसी नोटों की मात्रा कुल करेंसी के 2.01 फीसदी पर आ गई है।
एनपीसीआई ने शिकायत निवारण के लिए BHIM ऐप पर UPI-Help लॉन्च किया
भारत में डिजिटल भुगतान के लिए छाता इकाई नेशनल पेमेंट्स कॉरपोरेशन ऑफ इंडिया (NPCI) ने BHIM UPI पर “UPI-Help” नाम से एक नया एप्लिकेशन लॉन्च किया है, जो BHIM एप्लिकेशन के उपयोगकर्ताओं के लिए शिकायत निवारण तंत्र के रूप में कार्य करेगा। प्रारंभ में, UPI-Help को भारतीय स्टेट बैंक, AXIS बैंक, HDFC बैंक और ICICI बैंक के ग्राहकों के लिए BHIM ऐप पर लाइव किया गया है।
दुनिया का सबसे तेज़ सुपर कंप्यूटर “फुगाकु” का परिचालन शुरू
जापानी वैज्ञानिक अनुसंधान संस्थान RIKEN और फुजित्सु द्वारा विकसित दुनिया का सबसे शक्तिशाली सुपर कंप्यूटर “फुगाकू” है, जिसे शोध कार्य के लिए उपलब्ध कराया गया है। फुगाकू जापान सरकार को अल्ट्रा-स्मार्ट सोसायटी 5.0 स्थापित करने के लिए अपनी दृष्टि को प्राप्त करने में मदद करेगा, जहां सभी लोग सुरक्षित और आरामदायक जीवन जीते हैं। Fugaku कंप्यूटर में K सुपरकंप्यूटर के अनुप्रयोग प्रदर्शन का 100 गुना है और इसे उच्च-रिज़ॉल्यूशन, लंबी अवधि और बड़े पैमाने पर सिमुलेशन को लागू करने के लिए विकसित किया गया है।
प्रख्यात कथकली कलाकार चेमनचेरी कुनिरामन नायर का निधन
प्रसिद्ध कथकली कलाकार चेमनचेरी कुनिरामन नायर का आज सुबह केरल के कोझीकोड में निधन हो गया। 105 साल के कथकली प्रेमियों ने अपनी मुद्राओं, आकर्षण और अनुग्रह के लिए कई दशकों तक दिल जीता। राष्ट्रकवि ने उन्हें कथकली में उनके योगदान के लिए 2017 में पद्म श्री से सम्मानित किया था।
प्रसिद्ध पद्म भूषण विजेता चित्रकार लक्ष्मण पई का निधन
प्रसिद्ध भारतीय कलाकार और चित्रकार लक्ष्मण पई का निधन हो गया है। वे 95 वर्ष के थे। गोवा स्थित चित्रकार भारत के तीसरे सर्वोच्च नागरिक सम्मान पद्म भूषण के प्राप्तकर्ता थे
पूर्व बॉक्सिंग चैंपियन मार्वलस ’मार्विन हैगलर का निधन
पूर्व निर्विवाद मिडिलवेट मुक्केबाजी के दिग्गज “मार्वलस” मार्विन हैगलर का निधन हो गया है। वह 66 वर्ष के थे। उन्हें 1993 में इंटरनेशनल बॉक्सिंग हॉल ऑफ फेम और वर्ल्ड बॉक्सिंग हॉल ऑफ फेम में शामिल किया गया था।
