What’s new in CLAT Exam Pattern 2020?
- CLAT 2020 LLM paper will not have Descreptive Questions: In view of the current pandemic situation in the nation, the Consortium has decided to conduct CLAT 2020 in SD-CBT mode for which it has decided to remove descreptive section from LLM question paper. The students will now have to answer 120 questions in 120 minutes, maximum marks for the paper being 120.
- Reduction in total number of questions: In the upcoming CLAT examination, less number of questions will be asked unlike previous years. The number of questions will be 150.
- Removal of Legal Aptitude Section?: There were discussions that Legal Aptitude section may not exist in CLAT 2020. However, that’s not the case and the section will carry 25% weightage in CLAT 2020.
- Increase in Comprehension based questions: CLAT 2020 exam will carry more comprehension based questions in all sections for both UG and PG programs. According to the press release, “Comprehension based questions would be asked from Quantitative Techniques, English, Current Affairs, Deductive Reasoning and Logical Reasoning.
