Today’s “Phrase of the Day” is “have one’s hands full“ and it is a phrase meaning “to be very busy; to be completely occupied; engaged in, involved in, working at, hard at work”.

Example Sentence:

  • It is true that UK Chancellor Rishi Sunak has his hands full at the Treasury.
  • I can’t do the job—I’ve got my hands full at my desk.
  • In other words, you have your hands full already with existing problems.
