World Homeopathy Day is celebrated April 10
World Homeopathy Day is celebrated every year on April 10 to spread awareness about homoeopathy and its contribution to the world of medicine. The day marks the birth anniversary of German physician Dr Christian Friedrich Samuel Hahnemann, who is considered as the founder of system of alternative medicine called Homeopathy. The year 2021 marks the 266th birthday of Hanhemann.
2-day Scientific Convention on World Homoeopathy Day inaugurated in New Delhi
A two-day Scientific Convention on ‘Homoeopathy – Roadmap for Integrative Medicine’ was inaugurated at New Delhi. Minister of state for Defence Shri Shripad Yesso Naik was the chief guest on this occasion. The Convention was organized by the Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy, an autonomous apex research organization under the Ministry of AYUSH to celebrate the occasion of the World Homoeopathy Day. The World Homoeopathy Day is observed to commemorate the birth anniversary of the founder of Homoeopathy, Dr. Samuel Hahnemann.
NITI Aayog to launch Online Dispute Resolution handbook
NITI Aayog will launch the first-of-its kind Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) handbook in India. ODR is the resolution of disputes outside courts, particularly of small and medium-value cases, using digital technology and techniques of alternate dispute resolution such as negotiation, mediation, and arbitration. Supreme Court Judge, Justice D Y Chandrachud will deliver the opening address and launch the handbook.
Govt sets trigger amount as Rs 10 lakh for MSME pre-packs scheme
The Central government has set a payment default of Rs 10 lakh as the trigger for bankruptcy proceedings of small businesses under the new simplified scheme called pre-packs. This would be the minimum threshold of payment default for micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) under the pre-pack scheme.
India contributes USD 500,000 to UN Trust Fund for counter-terrorism
India has contributed an additional USD 500,000 to the United Nations Trust Fund for Counter-Terrorism. With this amount, India’s total contribution to it so far is USD 1.05 million. The UN Trust Fund for Counter-Terrorism was established by the Secretary-General in 2009.
India, Netherlands announce launch of strategic partnership in water sector
India and the Netherlands have announced the launch of the strategic partnership in water sector to further intensify ongoing cooperation and better coherence in the area. Addressing the media in New Delhi after the India – Netherlands Virtual Summit held between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Netherlands counterpart Mark Rutte, Joint Secretary in the External Affairs Ministry Sandeep Chakravorty said that both leaders have agreed to elevate the joint working group on water to a Ministerial Level.
Vjosa Osmani elected as new President of Kosovo
The U.S. educated female law professor Vjosa Osmani has been elected as the new President of Kosovo. The 38-year-old candidate of the ruling Vetevendosje party has been sworn in as the seventh president of the country for a period of five-year-term. She is the second female leader, in the post-war period of Kosovo.
Government Appoints S Ramann as new Chairman & Managing Director of SIDBI
S Ramann has been appointed as the Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI). Ramann, a 1991-batch Indian Audit & Accounts Service officer, is currently the CEO of National E-Governance Services Ltd, India’s first Information Utility.
Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal launches “NanoSniffer”, World’s First Microsensor based Explosive Trace Detector
The Union Education Minister, Shri Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ launched the world’s first Microsensor based Explosive Trace Detector (ETD) called “NanoSniffer”. The ETD has been developed by NanoSniff Technologies, an IIT Bombay incubated startup. It is a 100% Made in India product in terms of research, development & manufacturing. The device can detect explosives in less than 10 seconds. It gives visible & audible alerts with sunlight-readable color display.
S A Bobde launches Supreme Court of India’s first AI-driven Research Portal ‘SUPACE’
The first-of-its-kind Artificial Intelligence (AI) based portal of the Supreme Court of India called “SUPACE”, was unveiled by Chief Justice of India S A Bobde. SUPACE stands for “Supreme Court Portal for Assistance in Court’s Efficiency”. The SUPACE portal is a tool that collects relevant facts and laws and makes them available to a judge, to make research easier for judges, and thereby ease their workload. Through SUPACE, the apex court judges will be able to fetch facts on any given case accurately, do all discovery of facts.
The Great Khali formally inducted in WWE Hall of Fame 2021
India’s one-time World Heavyweight Champion, “The Great Khali”, has been inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame as part of the 2021 class. The 7’1″ tall Khali is first Indian world champion in WWE. He made his professional wrestling debut in 2000. The official name of “The Great Khali” is Dalip Singh Rana.
PM Modi releases Hindi version of the book ‘Odisha Itihaas’
Prime Minister Narendra Modi released the Hindi translation of the book ‘Odisha Itihaas’ (Odisha History), written by Dr Harekrushna Mahtab, the former freedom fighter and first Chief Minister of Odisha. The book was till now available in Odia and English. It has been translated into Hindi by Shankarlal Purohit. Mahtab was popularly known by the name “Utkal Keshari”. He served as Chief Minister of Odisha from 1946 to 1950 and from 1956 to 1961.
Prince Philip, husband of Britain’s Queen Elizabeth II, passes away
Britain’s Prince Philip, Queen Elizabeth the II’s husband has died today at the age of 99. The Prince married Princess Elizabeth in 1947, five years before she became Queen, and was the longest-serving royal consort in British history. In March, the Duke of Edinburgh left hospital after a month-long stay for treatment.
World’s first-ever Woman Commentator Chandra Nayudu passes away
Chandra Nayudu, the first woman cricket commentator of India, has passed away. She was 88. She was the daughter of India’s first Test captain Col CK Nayudu.
Renowned Journalist-author Fatima R Zakaria passes away
Padma Shri winning renowned journalist, Fatima Rafiq Zakaria, has passed away due to Covid. She was 85. She was the chairman of Maulana Azad Educational Trust and Khairul Islam Trust Mumbai. She was awarded the Padma Shri in recognition of her work in education in 2006.

ऑनलाइन विवाद समाधान पुस्तिका को लॉन्च करने के लिए NITI Aayog

एमएसएमई प्री-पैक योजना के लिए सरकार ने 10 लाख रुपये के रूप में ट्रिगर राशि निर्धारित की है
केंद्र सरकार ने प्री-पैक्स नाम की नई सरलीकृत योजना के तहत छोटे व्यवसायों की दिवालियापन कार्यवाही के लिए ट्रिगर के रूप में 10 लाख रुपये का भुगतान डिफ़ॉल्ट निर्धारित किया है। यह प्री-पैक योजना के तहत सूक्ष्म, लघु और मध्यम उद्यमों (MSMEs) के लिए भुगतान की न्यूनतम सीमा होगी।
आतंकवाद निरोध के लिए भारत ने संयुक्त राष्ट्र न्यास निधि में $ 500,000 का योगदान दिया
भारत ने आतंकवाद निरोध के लिए संयुक्त राष्ट्र ट्रस्ट फंड में अतिरिक्त USD 500,000 का योगदान दिया है। इस राशि के साथ, भारत का अब तक का कुल योगदान 1.05 मिलियन अमरीकी डालर है। आतंकवाद विरोधी संयुक्त राष्ट्र ट्रस्ट फंड की स्थापना महासचिव ने 2009 में की थी।

वजोसा उस्मानी कोसोवो के नए राष्ट्रपति के रूप में चुने गए

एस ए बोबडे ने भारत के पहले AI- संचालित अनुसंधान पोर्टल ‘सुप्रीम’ का सर्वोच्च न्यायालय शुरू किया
भारत के सर्वोच्च न्यायालय के “सुपरस” नामक पोर्टल का पहला तरह का आर्टिफिशियल इंटेलिजेंस (एआई), भारत के मुख्य न्यायाधीश एस ए बोबडे द्वारा अनावरण किया गया था। सुप्रीम कोर्ट की क्षमता में सहायता के लिए सुप्रीम कोर्ट का पोर्टल है। SUPACE पोर्टल एक ऐसा उपकरण है जो प्रासंगिक तथ्यों और कानूनों को एकत्र करता है और उन्हें न्यायाधीशों के लिए शोध को आसान बनाने के लिए और उन्हें एक न्यायाधीश के लिए उपलब्ध कराता है, और जिससे उनका कार्यभार आसान हो जाता है। SUPACE के माध्यम से, शीर्ष अदालत के न्यायाधीश किसी भी मामले पर तथ्यों को सही ढंग से लाने में सक्षम होंगे, तथ्यों की सभी खोज करेंगे।

पीएम मोदी ने ‘ओडिशा इतिहस’ पुस्तक का हिंदी संस्करण जारी किया
प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने पूर्व स्वतंत्रता सेनानी और ओडिशा के प्रथम मुख्यमंत्री डॉ। हरेकृष्ण महताब द्वारा लिखित पुस्तक isha ओडिशा इतिहस ’(ओडिशा इतिहास) का हिंदी अनुवाद जारी किया। पुस्तक अब तक ओडिया और अंग्रेजी में उपलब्ध थी। इसका हिंदी में अनुवाद शंकरलाल पुरोहित ने किया है। महताब को “उत्कल केशरी” के नाम से जाना जाता था। उन्होंने 1946 से 1950 और 1956 से 1961 तक ओडिशा के मुख्यमंत्री के रूप में कार्य किया।

पद्म श्री जीतने वाले प्रसिद्ध पत्रकार, फातिमा रफीक ज़कारिया, कोविद के कारण निधन हो गया है। वह 85 वर्ष की थीं। वह मौलाना आजाद एजुकेशनल ट्रस्ट और खैरुल इस्लाम ट्रस्ट मुंबई की अध्यक्ष थीं। उन्हें 2006 में शिक्षा में उनके काम के लिए पद्म श्री से सम्मानित किया गया था।
