World Health Day being celebrated on April 07
World Health Day is being observed on 7th April. The dayis aimed at creating awareness of a specific health theme to highlight apriority area of concern for the World Health Organization. The World Health Organization has said thatas COVID-19 has highlighted, some people are able to live healthier lives andhave better access to health services than others. Cabinet approves PLI Scheme for Air Conditioners and LED Lights worth Rs 6238 crore
The Union Cabinet has approved the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) Scheme- ‘National Programme on High Efficiency Solar PV Modules’ for achieving manufacturing capacity of Giga Watt with an outlay of Rs 4,500 crore. The National Programme on High Efficiency Solar PV Modules will reduce import dependence in a strategic sector like electricity and will also support the Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative.

Union Minister Narendra Singh Tomar launches Madhukranti portal and Honey Corners of NAFED in New Delhi
Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Minister Narendra Singh Tomar launched Madhukranti portal and Honey Corners of National Agricultural Cooperative Marketing Federation, NAFED in New Delhi. This portal is being developed for online registration to achieve a traceability source of Honey and other beehive products on a digital platform. This will also help in checking the quality and source of adulteration of honey.

Third India-Bahrain High Joint Commission meeting to be held in Delhi
The third India-Bahrain High Joint Commission meeting will be held in New Delhi. It will be co-chaired by Minister of External Affairs Dr. S. Jaishankar and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bahrain, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani. The Foreign Affairs Minister of Bahrain reached New Delhi last night on a three-day visit to India. He called on Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu this afternoon.

➨ The repo rate unchanged at 4%
➨ The reverse repo rate unchanged 3.35%
➨ The marginal standing facility rate and bank rate will remain unchanged at 4.25%
➨ GDP growth projection at 10.5 per cent for Fiscal Year 2021-22
➨ RBI has decided to put in place a secondary market G-sec acquisition programme or G-SAP 1.0, to give it a distinct character.
➨ RBI will commit upfront to a specific amount of open market purchases of government securities with a view to enabling a stable and orderly evolution of the yield curve amidst comfortable liquidity conditions.
➨ The first purchase of government securities for an aggregate amount of ₹25,000 crore under G-SAP 1.0 will be conducted on April 15, 2021.
➨ The Governor assured that RBI will continue to do whatever it takes to preserve financial stability and to insulate domestic financial markets from global spillovers and the consequent volatility.

Nearly 68% loans under PMMY sanctioned to women entrepreneurs
More than 28 crore 68 lakh loans for an amount of nearly 15 lakh crore rupees have been sanctioned since launch of Pradhan Mantri MUDRA Yojana. The Yojana was launched in 2015 for providing loans upto 10 Lakh rupees to non-corporate, non-farm, small and micro-enterprises. Finance Ministry has said that about 68 percent of loans have been given to women entrepreneurs and about 51 percent of loans have been given to SC, ST and OBC borrowers.

Justice N V Ramana appointed as 48th Chief Justice of India
President Ram Nath Kovind has appointed Justice N V Ramana as the 48th Chief Justice of India, accepting the recommendation made by the outgoing CJI SA Bobde. Justice Ramana will have a term till August 26th next year. Justice Ramana was the Chief Justice of the Delhi High Court. He was born in an agricultural family in Andhra Pradesh.

Veteran journalist Dr. Fatema Zakaria passes away
Well-known educationist, veteran journalist and Chairman of Aurangabad’s prestigious educational institution Maulana Azad Campus Dr. Fatema Zakaria is no more. She was 85. She was conferred with Padamshree for her excellent contribution in education and educational reforms. She was the wife of former union minister and founder of Azad College campus, Late Mr. Rafiq Zakaria.

7 अप्रैल को विश्व स्वास्थ्य दिवस मनाया जा रहा है। विश्व स्वास्थ्य संगठन के लिए चिंता के उदासीनता क्षेत्र को उजागर करने के लिए एक विशिष्ट स्वास्थ्य विषय के बारे में जागरूकता पैदा करने का उद्देश्य। इन वर्षों में, यह मानसिक स्वास्थ्य, मातृ, बच्चे की देखभाल और जलवायु परिवर्तन जैसे महत्वपूर्ण स्वास्थ्य मुद्दों को प्रकाश में लाया है। विश्व स्वास्थ्य संगठन ने कहा है कि सीओएएसआईडी -19 ने प्रकाश डाला है, कुछ लोग स्वस्थ जीवन जीने में सक्षम हैं और दूसरों की तुलना में स्वास्थ्य सेवाओं तक बेहतर पहुंच रखते हैं। इस वर्ष विश्व स्वास्थ्य दिवस की थीम एक स्वस्थ, स्वस्थ दुनिया का निर्माण है।

कैबिनेट ने एयर कंडीशनर और एलईडी लाइट्स के लिए 6238 करोड़ रुपये की पीएलआई योजना को मंजूरी दी
केंद्रीय मंत्रिमंडल ने 4,500 करोड़ रुपये के परिव्यय के साथ गीगा वाट की विनिर्माण क्षमता प्राप्त करने के लिए उत्पादन लिंक्ड इंसेंटिव (पीएलआई) योजना- ‘उच्च दक्षता सौर पीवी मॉड्यूल पर राष्ट्रीय कार्यक्रम’ को मंजूरी दे दी है। उच्च दक्षता वाले सौर पीवी मॉड्यूल पर राष्ट्रीय कार्यक्रम बिजली जैसे रणनीतिक क्षेत्र में आयात निर्भरता को कम करेगा और साथ ही आत्मानिबर भारत पहल का समर्थन करेगा।

केंद्रीय मंत्री नरेंद्र सिंह तोमर ने नई दिल्ली में मधुक्रांति पोर्टल और NAFED के हनी कॉर्नर लॉन्च किए
कृषि और किसान कल्याण मंत्री नरेंद्र सिंह तोमर ने नई दिल्ली में राष्ट्रीय कृषि सहकारी विपणन महासंघ, नैफेड के मधुक्रीति पोर्टल और हनी कॉर्नर का शुभारंभ किया। यह पोर्टल डिजिटल पंजीकरण पर हनी और अन्य बीहाइव उत्पादों के ट्रैसेबिलिटी स्रोत को प्राप्त करने के लिए ऑनलाइन पंजीकरण के लिए विकसित किया जा रहा है। यह शहद की मिलावट की गुणवत्ता और स्रोत की जांच करने में भी मदद करेगा।

दिल्ली में होने वाली तीसरी भारत-बहरीन उच्च संयुक्त आयोग की बैठक
तीसरी भारत-बहरीन उच्च संयुक्त आयोग की बैठक नई दिल्ली में होगी। इसकी अध्यक्षता विदेश मंत्री डॉ। एस जयशंकर और बहरीन के विदेश मंत्री डॉ। अब्दुल्लातिफ बिन राशिद अल ज़ायनी करेंगे। बहरीन के विदेश मंत्री भारत की तीन दिवसीय यात्रा पर कल रात नई दिल्ली पहुंचे। उन्होंने आज दोपहर उपराष्ट्रपति एम वेंकैया नायडू से मुलाकात की।

महिला उद्यमियों को PMMY के तहत लगभग 68% ऋण स्वीकृत
प्रधान मंत्री मुद्रा योजना के शुभारंभ के बाद से लगभग 15 लाख करोड़ रुपये की राशि के लिए 28 करोड़ 68 लाख से अधिक ऋण स्वीकृत किए गए हैं। गैर-कॉर्पोरेट, गैर-कृषि, छोटे और सूक्ष्म-उद्यमों को 10 लाख रुपये तक के ऋण प्रदान करने के लिए 2015 में योजना शुरू की गई थी। वित्त मंत्रालय ने कहा है कि लगभग 68 प्रतिशत ऋण महिला उद्यमियों को दिया गया है और लगभग 51 प्रतिशत ऋण एससी, एसटी और ओबीसी उधारकर्ताओं को दिया गया है।

जस्टिस एन वी रमना को भारत के 48 वें मुख्य न्यायाधीश के रूप में नियुक्त किया गया
राष्ट्रपति राम नाथ कोविंद ने निवर्तमान CJI SA बोबडे द्वारा की गई सिफारिश को स्वीकार करते हुए न्यायमूर्ति एन वी रमण को भारत का 48 वां मुख्य न्यायाधीश नियुक्त किया है। जस्टिस रमण का कार्यकाल अगले साल 26 अगस्त तक होगा। जस्टिस रमण दिल्ली उच्च न्यायालय के मुख्य न्यायाधीश थे। उनका जन्म आंध्र प्रदेश में एक कृषि परिवार में हुआ था।

वयोवृद्ध पत्रकार डॉ फात्मा ज़कारिया का निधन
जाने-माने शिक्षाविद, अनुभवी पत्रकार और औरंगाबाद के प्रतिष्ठित शिक्षण संस्थान के चेयरमैन मौलाना आज़ाद कैम्पस डॉ। फ़ातेमा ज़कारिया अब और नहीं हैं। वह 85 वर्ष की थीं। उन्हें शिक्षा और शैक्षिक सुधारों में उत्कृष्ट योगदान के लिए पदमश्री से सम्मानित किया गया था। वह पूर्व केंद्रीय मंत्री और आजाद कॉलेज परिसर के संस्थापक स्वर्गीय श्री रफीक जकारिया की पत्नी थीं।
