In Chhattisgarh, “Corona Intensive Community Survey Campaign” is going on. Under this campaign, a door-to-door survey is being conducted to identify patients with symptoms of corona infection in rural and urban areas of the state by October 12. The objective of this campaign is to identify Corona patients as soon as possible by conducting intensive community survey in urban and rural areas. Through this campaign, the state government is trying to break the chain of corona infection by isolating corona patients.

Housing and Urban Affairs Minister Hardeep Singh Puri has said that the 2030 agenda for Sustainable Development adopted by the United Nations member states is a guiding document for a planet and people. He said, 17 Sustainable Development Goals and 169 targets reflect the collective vision which need to be achieved by the year 2030.
Google extends compliance date for Play Billing to March 2022 for Indian apps
Amid growing concerns from startups about Play Billing policies, Google on Monday said it is “setting up listening sessions” with “leading Indian startups” to “understand their concerns”. The move comes less than a week after Google India issued a clarification on its Play Billing policies, which was panned by big tech startups in the country, including PayTM and Razorpay.
Adani Ports completes acquisition of Krishnapatnam port
India’s largest private port operator Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Ltd (APSEZ) has completed the acquisition of Krishnapatnam Port Co Ltd (KPCL) for an enterprise value of ₹12,000 crore. This will result in APSEZ having a 75% controlling stake in KPCL, the Adani group said in a press release.
Paytm launches its own mini app store
Digital payments firm Paytm has launched a mini-app store to support Indian developers, in a direct challenge to Google’s dominance in the space. The launch of the store follows the payment app being temporarily removed from Google’s Play Store on 18 September for violating developer guidelines on real-money gaming.
Nobel Prize 2020 for medicine awarded to 3 scientists for Hepatitis C virus discovery
Two Americans Harvey J. Alter and Charles M. Rice and one British-born scientist Michael Houghton won the 2020 Nobel Prize for Physiology or Medicine for work in identifying the Hepatitis C virus, which causes cirrhosis and liver cancer, the award-giving body said on 5 October.
24 planets may have more suitable conditions for life than Earth
Scientists have identified 24 planets outside our solar system that they say may have conditions more suitable for life than the Earth. The study, published in the journal Astrobiology, details characteristics of potential “superhabitable” planets, that include those that are older, a little larger, slightly warmer and possibly wetter than Earth.
DRDO successfully flight tests Supersonic Missile Assisted Release of Torpedo
Supersonic Missile Assisted Release of Torpedo, SMART was successfully flight tested today from Wheeler Island off the coast of Odisha. Defence Research and Development Organisation, DRDO said, all the mission objectives including missile flight upto the range and altitude, separation of the nose cone, release of Torpedo and deployment of Velocity Reduction Mechanism (VRM) have been met perfectly.
