The unique pricing of less than a dollar for a 90- minute cruise over the Ganges, like the London river cruise or Singapore boat ride or those on River Mandovi in Goa, is aimed at attracting people from all walks of life, WBTC managing director Rajanvir Singh Kapur.

Maharashtra Governor launches chemo recovery kits
Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari today launched chemo recovery kits containing Ayurvedic formulation at the Raj Bhavan in Mumbai. The chemo recovery kit has been developed by the Integrated Cancer Treatment and Research Centre of the Bharatiya Sanskriti Darshan Trust in Pune with financial assistance from the Tata Trusts.

World famous tourist destination Ladakh today observed World Tourism Day with cleanliness drive in Leh and Kargil towns. Ladakh Lieutenant Governor, R K Mathur flagged off the teams participating in cleanliness drive in Leh. He expressed concerns about the adverse affect on the tourism sector due to the pandemic. He appreciated the Ladakh Tourism Department, Rural Development Department and other bodies for their initiative to celebrate the World Tourism Day with a cleanliness drive.

Bangalore airport and Virgin sign MoU to study viable hyperloop corridor
Bangalore International Airport Limited (BIAL) and Virgin Hyperloop, that claims to be a category leader in hyperloop technology on Sunday said they have signed an MoU to conduct a feasibility study for a proposed Hyperloop corridor from the city’s Kempegowda International Airport. A hyperloop-connected airport would dramatically improve the delivery of cargo and create an ultra-efficient supply chain, says Sultan bin Sulayem, Chairman of Virgin Hyperloop and DP World. The airport will also be connected with sub-urban railway soon and will have Metro connectivity in four years.
