Tamil Nadu CM inaugurates Jayalalithaa Memorial in Chennai
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi Palanisamy inaugurated Jayalalithaa Memorial at Chennai. The 79 crore worth grand memorial is built on a nine acre land situated on the shores of the Marina Beach. The phoenix shaped memorial has a statue of Jayalalithaa and MGR with an artificial waterfall. The building was completed within a record period of 30 months.

Maharashtra CM inaugurates Balasaheb Thackeray Gorewada International Zoological Park in Nagpur
Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray inaugurated Balasaheb Thackeray Gorewada International Zoological Park in Nagpur. The park has been developed by the State Forest Department and Forest Development Corporation. It is spread across an area of 1,914 hectares and includes a wildlife sanctuary, Indian safari, African safari biodiversity park and night safari.

Ministry of Finance releasesover Rs 12,351 crore to 18 States for providing grants to the Rural Local Bodies
The Department of Expenditure of Ministry of Finance has released an amount of over Rs 12,351 crore to 18 States for providing grants to the Rural Local Bodies. This amount is the 2nd instalment of basic grants released in this financial year. The grant has been released to 18 States which have provided the Utilisation Certificate for the first instalment and on the recommendation of the Ministry of Panchayati Raj. The grants to Rural Local Bodies are released as per the recommendations of the 15th Finance Commission to create community assets and improve financial viability of the Rural Local Bodies.

Textiles Committee of Ministry of Textiles signs MoU with Nissenken Quality Evaluation Centre, Japan
The Textiles Committee of the Ministry of Textiles has signed a MoU with Nissenken Quality Evaluation Centre, Japan to boost export of Textile and Apparel to Japanese market. The MoU signing ceremony was held through video conferencing which was presided over by Minister of Textiles Smriti Irani and State Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan Yasumasa Nagasaka.The main objective of the MoU is to provide required support to textile’s trade and industry for ensuring quality as per the requirement of Japanese buyers.

India and International Energy Agency members sign framework for Strategic Partnership
The Ministry of Power has said that India and International Energy Agency members signed the framework for Strategic Partnership to strengthen mutual trust and cooperation and enhance global energy security, stability and sustainability. This partnership will lead to an extensive exchange of knowledge and would be a stepping stone towards India becoming a full member of the International Energy Agency (IEA).

IMF revises growth projection for India to 11.5 per cent in 2021
International Monetary Fund, IMF projected an 11.5 per cent growth rate for India in 2021. It makes India only major economy of the world to register double-digit growth this year amidst the coronavirus pandemic. With the latest projections, India regains the tag of the fastest developing economies of the world. IMF said India’s economy is projected to grow by 6.8 per cent in 2022.

तमिलनाडु की सीएम ने चेन्नई में जयललिता स्मारक का उद्घाटन किया
तमिलनाडु की मुख्यमंत्री एडप्पादी पलानीसामी ने चेन्नई में जयललिता स्मारक का उद्घाटन किया। मरीना बीच के किनारे स्थित नौ एकड़ भूमि पर 79 करोड़ का भव्य स्मारक बना है। फ़ीनिक्स के आकार के स्मारक में एक कृत्रिम जलप्रपात के साथ जयललिता और एमजीआर की मूर्ति है। इमारत 30 महीने की रिकॉर्ड अवधि के भीतर पूरी हुई थी।

महाराष्ट्र के सीएम ने नागपुर में बालासाहेब ठाकरे गोरेवाड़ा इंटरनेशनल जूलॉजिकल पार्क का उद्घाटन किया
महाराष्ट्र के मुख्यमंत्री उद्धव ठाकरे ने नागपुर में बालासाहेब ठाकरे गोरेवाड़ा अंतर्राष्ट्रीय प्राणि उद्यान का उद्घाटन किया। पार्क को राज्य वन विभाग और वन विकास निगम द्वारा विकसित किया गया है। यह 1,914 हेक्टेयर क्षेत्र में फैला हुआ है और इसमें एक वन्यजीव अभयारण्य, भारतीय सफारी, अफ्रीकी सफारी जैव विविधता पार्क और रात सफारी शामिल हैं।

इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स, सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी और संचार मंत्री रविशंकर प्रसाद एक आभासी खुफिया उपकरण तेजस लॉन्च करेंगे। यह प्रणाली नागरिक केंद्रित सेवाओं के वितरण को सुनिश्चित करने के साथ नीतिगत फैसलों और सरकार की सेवाओं की दक्षता में सुधार करने में मदद करेगी।

ग्रामीण स्थानीय निकायों को अनुदान प्रदान करने के लिए वित्त मंत्रालय ने 18 राज्यों को 12,351 करोड़ रुपये जारी किए
वित्त मंत्रालय के व्यय विभाग ने ग्रामीण स्थानीय निकायों को अनुदान प्रदान करने के लिए 18 राज्यों को 12,351 करोड़ रुपये से अधिक की राशि जारी की है। यह राशि इस वित्तीय वर्ष में जारी किए गए मूल अनुदानों की दूसरी किस्त है। अनुदान 18 राज्यों को जारी किया गया है जिन्होंने पहली किस्त के लिए उपयोगिता प्रमाणपत्र प्रदान किया है और पंचायती राज मंत्रालय की सिफारिश पर। ग्रामीण स्थानीय निकायों को अनुदान 15 वें वित्त आयोग की सिफारिशों के अनुसार सामुदायिक संपत्ति बनाने और ग्रामीण स्थानीय निकायों की वित्तीय व्यवहार्यता में सुधार करने के लिए जारी किया जाता है।

कपड़ा मंत्रालय की कपड़ा समिति निसेनक गुणवत्ता मूल्यांकन केंद्र, जापान के साथ समझौता ज्ञापन पर हस्ताक्षर किया
कपड़ा मंत्रालय की कपड़ा समिति ने जापानी बाजार में टेक्सटाइल और अपैरल के निर्यात को बढ़ावा देने के लिए निसेनक क्वालिटी इवैल्यूएशन सेंटर, जापान के साथ एक समझौता ज्ञापन पर हस्ताक्षर किए हैं। MoU हस्ताक्षर समारोह वीडियो कॉन्फ्रेंसिंग के माध्यम से आयोजित किया गया था, जिसकी अध्यक्षता कपड़ा मंत्री स्मृति ईरानी और जापान के राज्य मंत्री, व्यापार और उद्योग मंत्री यासुमासा नागासाका ने की थी। MoU का मुख्य उद्देश्य कपड़ा व्यापार और उद्योग के लिए आवश्यक सहायता प्रदान करना है। जापानी खरीदारों की आवश्यकता के अनुसार गुणवत्ता सुनिश्चित करना।

भारत और अंतर्राष्ट्रीय ऊर्जा एजेंसी के सदस्य रणनीतिक साझेदारी के लिए रूपरेखा पर हस्ताक्षर किया
ऊर्जा मंत्रालय ने कहा है कि भारत और अंतर्राष्ट्रीय ऊर्जा एजेंसी के सदस्यों ने आपसी विश्वास और सहयोग को मजबूत करने और वैश्विक ऊर्जा सुरक्षा, स्थिरता और स्थिरता को बढ़ाने के लिए रणनीतिक साझेदारी के लिए रूपरेखा पर हस्ताक्षर किए। इस साझेदारी से ज्ञान का व्यापक आदान-प्रदान होगा और भारत अंतर्राष्ट्रीय ऊर्जा एजेंसी (IEA) का पूर्ण सदस्य बन जाएगा।

आईएमएफ ने भारत के लिए 2021 में विकास प्रक्षेपण को 11.5 प्रतिशत तक संशोधित किया है
अंतर्राष्ट्रीय मुद्रा कोष, आईएमएफ ने 2021 में भारत के लिए 11.5 प्रतिशत की विकास दर का अनुमान लगाया। यह कोरोनोवायरस महामारी के बीच इस वर्ष भारत को दुनिया की केवल प्रमुख अर्थव्यवस्था बनाता है। नवीनतम अनुमानों के साथ, भारत दुनिया की सबसे तेज़ विकासशील अर्थव्यवस्थाओं का टैग हासिल करता है। आईएमएफ ने कहा कि भारत की अर्थव्यवस्था 2022 में 6.8 प्रतिशत बढ़ने का अनुमान है।
