National Science Day is observed on February 28
National Science Day is celebrated every year on 28th of February to commemorate the discovery of the ‘Raman Effect’. On this day, Physicist CV Raman announced the discovery of the ‘Raman Effect’ for which he was awarded the Nobel Prize in 1930. The day is aimed at spreading the message of the importance of science and its application in human life. The theme for National Science Day 2021 is ‘Future of Science and Technology and Innovation: Impact on Education Skills and Work’.
World NGO Day is observed on February 27
Each year the World NGO Day is celebrated on February 27. The Day was officially recognised and declared by the 12 member countries (Belarus, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Russia, Norway and Sweden). It was marked for the first time by UN, EU leaders and international organisations in 2014.
39th Agartala International Book Fair begins in Tripura
The 39th Agartala International Book Fair with the theme “Ek Tripura, Shrestha Tripura” has begun at Agartala. State Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb inaugurated the fair in presence of Bangladesh Assistant High Commissioner Md. Jobayed Hossain and other state cabinet ministers and MLAs.
Gujarat govt launches Budget mobile app
Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel launched ‘Gujarat Budget’ mobile application at Gandhinagar. Mr Patel said the mobile app will have five different sections, comprising budgetary allocations for 27 departments, budget highlights, finance minister’s speech, important aspects of the budget and news coverage of it.
State Bank of India joins ‘Liink’ blockchain-based payment network of JPMorgan
The State Bank of India has tied up with JPMorgan to use the blockchain technology “Liink” of the US-based bank to speed up overseas transactions. With this, SBI has become the first bank in India to go live on the blockchain-based payment network of JPMorgan.

Amazonia-1 is the optical earth observation satellite of the National Institute for Space Research (INPE).
Indian men’s skeet team wins bronze in ISSF World Cup
The Indian trio of Mairaj Ahmed Khan, Angad Vir Singh Bajwa and Gurjoat Khangura won the bronze medal in men’s skeet team event at the International Shooting Sport Federation tournament (ISSF) Shotgun World Cup in Cairo.

राष्ट्रीय विज्ञान दिवस 28 फरवरी को मनाया जाता है
रमन प्रभाव ’की खोज को मनाने के लिए हर साल 28 फरवरी को राष्ट्रीय विज्ञान दिवस मनाया जाता है। इस दिन, भौतिक विज्ञानी सीवी रमन ने ‘रमन प्रभाव’ की खोज की घोषणा की, जिसके लिए उन्हें 1930 में नोबेल पुरस्कार से सम्मानित किया गया। इस दिन का उद्देश्य विज्ञान के महत्व और मानव जीवन में इसके अनुप्रयोग के संदेश को फैलाना है। राष्ट्रीय विज्ञान दिवस 2021 का विषय “फ्यूचर ऑफ साइंस एंड टेक्नोलॉजी एंड इनोवेशन: इम्पैक्ट ऑन एजुकेशन स्किल्स एंड वर्क ’है।
विश्व गैर सरकारी संगठन दिवस 27 फरवरी को मनाया जाता है
प्रत्येक वर्ष विश्व गैर सरकारी संगठन दिवस 27 फरवरी को मनाया जाता है। यह दिवस आधिकारिक तौर पर 12 सदस्य देशों (बेलारूस, डेनमार्क, एस्टोनिया, फिनलैंड, जर्मनी, आइसलैंड, लातविया, लिथुआनिया, पोलैंड, रूस, नॉर्वे और स्वीडन) द्वारा मान्यता प्राप्त और घोषित किया गया था। यह पहली बार 2014 में संयुक्त राष्ट्र, यूरोपीय संघ के नेताओं और अंतर्राष्ट्रीय संगठनों द्वारा चिह्नित किया गया था।
त्रिपुरा में 39 वां अगरतला अंतर्राष्ट्रीय पुस्तक मेला शुरू
अगरतला में “एक त्रिपुरा, श्रेष्ठ त्रिपुरा” विषय के साथ 39 वां अगरतला अंतर्राष्ट्रीय पुस्तक मेला शुरू हो गया है। राज्य के मुख्यमंत्री बिप्लब कुमार देब ने मेला का उद्घाटन बांग्लादेश के असिस्टेंट हाई कमिश्नर मो। अय्यूब हुसैन और अन्य राज्य कैबिनेट मंत्रियों और विधायकों की उपस्थिति में किया।
गुजरात सरकार ने बजट मोबाइल ऐप लॉन्च किया
उपमुख्यमंत्री नितिन पटेल ने गांधीनगर में ‘गुजरात बजट’ मोबाइल एप्लिकेशन लॉन्च किया। श्री पटेल ने कहा कि मोबाइल ऐप में पांच अलग-अलग खंड होंगे, जिसमें 27 विभागों के लिए बजटीय आवंटन, बजट पर प्रकाश डाला जाना, वित्त मंत्री का भाषण, बजट के महत्वपूर्ण पहलू और इसके समाचार कवरेज शामिल होंगे।
भारतीय स्टेट बैंक, जेपी मॉर्गन के ’लिंक’ ब्लॉकचेन-आधारित भुगतान नेटवर्क से जुड़ता है
भारतीय स्टेट बैंक ने विदेशी लेनदेन को गति देने के लिए अमेरिका स्थित बैंक की ब्लॉकचेन तकनीक “लिंक” का उपयोग करने के लिए जेपी मॉर्गन के साथ करार किया है। इसके साथ, एसबीआई जेपी मॉर्गन के ब्लॉकचैन-आधारित भुगतान नेटवर्क पर लाइव होने वाला भारत का पहला बैंक बन गया है।

इसरो ब्राजील के अमेजोनिया -1 सहित 19 उपग्रहों को लॉन्च करेगा
भारतीय अंतरिक्ष अनुसंधान संगठन (इसरो) आज सुबह 10.25 बजे श्रीहरिकोटा के सतीश धवन अंतरिक्ष केंद्र से PSLVC51 रॉकेट के माध्यम से ब्राजील के अमेजोनिया -1 उपग्रह और 18 सह-यात्री उपग्रहों का प्रक्षेपण करेगा। अमोनिया -1 राष्ट्रीय अंतरिक्ष अनुसंधान संस्थान (INPE) का ऑप्टिकल पृथ्वी अवलोकन उपग्रह है।
