Government to launch ‘Atmanirbhar Niveshak Mitra’ portal for handholding and facilitation of domestic investors
Government will soon launch ‘Atmanirbhar Niveshak Mitra’ portal for handholding and facilitation of domestic investors. In order to further strengthen efforts to promote domestic investments, the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) is in the process of finalising the ‘Atmanirbhar Niveshak Mitra’ digital portal. The portal is in testing phase and the final version will be ready for launch by 15th May this year. The webpage will also be available in regional languages and mobile App in due course.
Government launches Mera Ration Mobile App
Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution launched Mera Ration Mobile App for the benefit of those ration card holders who move to new places in search of livelihood. At present 32 States and Union Territories are covered under One Nation One Ration Card- ONORC and integration of remaining four States and UTs is expected to be completed in next few months.
Rajya Sabha passes Arbitration and Conciliation (Amendment) Bill, 2021
The Parliament gave its nod to the Arbitration and Conciliation (Amendment) Bill, 2021. The legislation seeks to amend the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The Act contains provisions to deal with domestic and international arbitration and defines the law for conducting conciliation proceedings. The Bill replaces an Ordinance with the same provisions promulgated on 4th November, 2020. It contains provisions to deal with domestic and international arbitration.
First Meeting of BRICS CGETI held under India’s Chairship
The first Meeting of the BRICS Contact Group on Economic and Trade Issues (CGETI) was held under India’s Chairship from 9th till 11th of this month. The theme of BRICS this year is -“BRICS at 15: Intra BRICS Cooperation for Continuity, Consolidation, and Consensus”. India presented the calendar of events for BRICS CGETI 2021, which included the priority areas for deliverables, schedule and scope of the MSME roundtable conference workshop on Services Statistics, and the BRICS Trade Fair.

Imran Amin Siddiqui appointed as Executive Director of Indian Bank
Imran Amin Siddiqui, the General Manager of state-owned Indian Bank, has been appointed as the Executive Director (ED) of Indian Bank. Apart from him, Shri Shenoy Vishwanath V and Shri K.Ramachandran are the other two ED on the board of Indian Bank.
Government Appoints Dr. GP Samanta as new Chief Statistician of India
The Central Government has appointed Dr. G P Samanta as the new Chief Statistician of India (CSI) for a period of two years. He is India’s fourth Chief Statistician of India (CSI). Currently, Dr Samanta is serving as an adviser in the Reserve Bank of India’s (RBI) Department Of Statistics and Information Management. Dr. Samanta will also serve as the Secretary in the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation (MoSPI).
Union Minister Anurag Thakur becomes first serving MP to get promoted as Captain in Territorial Army
Union Minister of State for Finance and Corporate Affairs, Anurag Thakur has been appointed as Captain in the Territorial Army on March 10, 2021. Anurag Thakur has been promoted to the rank of Captain at 124 Infantry Battalion Territorial Army (Sikh). He is the first serving Member of Parliament (MP) to become a regular commissioned officer in the Territorial Army. Anurag Thakur is a four-time BJP MP from Hamirpur in Himachal Pradesh.

Comptroller and Auditor General of India (CAG) Girish Chandra Murmu has been re-appointed as the Chairman of the Panel of External Auditors of the United Nations for the year 2021.
India – Uzbekistan joint military exercise DUSTLIK II begins in Uttarakhand
The India – Uzbekistan joint military exercise DUSTLIK II commenced today in Foreign Training Node Chaubatia, Ranikhet in Uttarakhand. This is the Second Edition of annual bilateral joint exercise of both armies. It will continue till 19th of this month. The first edition of the exercise was held at Uzbekistan in November 2019. 45 Soldiers each from Uzbekistan and Indian Army are participating in the exercise.

Dadi Hriday Mohini, the chief administrator of the spiritual movement Brahma Kumaris, died at a private hospital in Mumbai. She was 93. She played a pivotal role in spreading the positive message of the Brahma Kumaris family globally.

सरकार घरेलू निवेशकों की हैंडहोल्डिंग और सुविधा के लिए आत्मानबीर निवेशक मित्र पोर्टल शुरू करेगी
सरकार जल्द ही घरेलू निवेशकों की देखरेख और सुविधा के लिए will अतिमानबीर निवेशक मित्र ’पोर्टल शुरू करेगी। घरेलू निवेश को बढ़ावा देने के प्रयासों को और मजबूत करने के लिए, उद्योग और आंतरिक व्यापार संवर्धन विभाग (DPIIT) आत्मानबीर निवेशक मित्र ’डिजिटल पोर्टल को अंतिम रूप देने की प्रक्रिया में है। पोर्टल परीक्षण चरण में है और अंतिम संस्करण इस साल 15 मई तक लॉन्च के लिए तैयार हो जाएगा। वेबपेज क्षेत्रीय भाषाओं और मोबाइल ऐप पर भी उपलब्ध होगा।
सरकार ने मेरा राशन मोबाइल ऐप लॉन्च किया
उपभोक्ता मामलों, खाद्य और सार्वजनिक वितरण मंत्रालय ने उन राशन कार्ड धारकों के लाभ के लिए मेरा राशन मोबाइल ऐप लॉन्च किया जो आजीविका की तलाश में नए स्थानों पर जाते हैं। वर्तमान में 32 राज्यों और केंद्रशासित प्रदेशों को वन नेशन वन राशन कार्ड के अंतर्गत शामिल किया गया है- शेष चार राज्यों और केंद्रशासित प्रदेशों के एकीकरण अगले कुछ महीनों में पूरा होने की उम्मीद है।
राज्य सभा ने मध्यस्थता और सुलह (संशोधन) विधेयक, 2021 पारित किया
संसद ने पंचाट और सुलह (संशोधन) विधेयक, 2021 को अपनी मंजूरी दे दी। कानून पंचाट और सुलह अधिनियम, 1996 में संशोधन करना चाहता है। इस अधिनियम में घरेलू और अंतरराष्ट्रीय मध्यस्थता से निपटने के प्रावधान हैं और सुलह कार्यवाही के लिए कानून को परिभाषित करता है। विधेयक 4 नवंबर, 2020 को घोषित समान प्रावधानों वाले अध्यादेश की जगह लेता है। इसमें घरेलू और अंतरराष्ट्रीय मध्यस्थता से निपटने के प्रावधान हैं।
भारत – उज्बेकिस्तान संयुक्त सैन्य अभ्यास DUSTLIK II उत्तराखंड में शुरू हुआ
भारत – उज्बेकिस्तान संयुक्त सैन्य अभ्यास DUSTLIK II आज उत्तराखंड में विदेशी प्रशिक्षण नोड चौबटिया, रानीखेत में शुरू हुआ। यह दोनों सेनाओं के वार्षिक द्विपक्षीय संयुक्त अभ्यास का दूसरा संस्करण है। यह इस महीने की 19 तारीख तक जारी रहेगा। अभ्यास का पहला संस्करण नवंबर 2019 में उज्बेकिस्तान में आयोजित किया गया था। उज्बेकिस्तान और भारतीय सेना के 45 सैनिक अभ्यास में भाग ले रहे हैं।
भारत की अध्यक्षता के तहत आयोजित ब्रिक्स सीजीईटीआई की पहली बैठक
आर्थिक और व्यापार मुद्दों (CGETI) पर ब्रिक्स संपर्क समूह की पहली बैठक इस महीने की 11 तारीख तक भारत की अध्यक्षता में आयोजित की गई थी। इस वर्ष ब्रिक्स का विषय है – “15 पर ब्रिक्स: निरंतरता, समेकन और सहमति के लिए इंट्रा ब्रिक्स सहयोग”। भारत ने ब्रिक्स सीजीईटीआई 2021 के लिए घटनाओं का कैलेंडर प्रस्तुत किया, जिसमें एमएसएमई के डिलिवरेबल्स, अनुसूची और दायरे के लिए प्राथमिकता वाले क्षेत्र शामिल थे। सेवा सांख्यिकी और ब्रिक्स व्यापार मेले पर गोलमेज सम्मेलन सम्मेलन।

RBI IDBI बैंक को PCA ढांचे से बाहर किया

सरकार डॉ जीपी सामंत को भारत का नया मुख्य सांख्यिकीविद् नियुक्त किया गया
केंद्र सरकार ने डॉ जी पी सामंत को दो साल की अवधि के लिए भारत का नया मुख्य सांख्यिकीविद् (सीएसआई) नियुक्त किया है। वह भारत के चौथे मुख्य सांख्यिकीविद् (CSI) हैं। वर्तमान में, डॉ। सामंत भारतीय रिज़र्व बैंक (RBI) के सांख्यिकी और सूचना प्रबंधन विभाग में सलाहकार के रूप में सेवारत हैं। डॉ। सामंत सांख्यिकी और कार्यक्रम कार्यान्वयन मंत्रालय (MoSPI) में सचिव के रूप में भी काम करेंगे।

आध्यात्मिक आंदोलन ब्रह्म कुमारियों के मुख्य प्रशासक दादी हृदय मोहिनी का मुंबई के एक निजी अस्पताल में निधन हो गया। वह 93 थी। उन्होंने विश्व स्तर पर ब्रह्म कुमारियों के परिवार के सकारात्मक संदेश को फैलाने में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाई।
दिग्गज मराठी अभिनेता श्रीकांत मोघे का निधन
मराठी मंच और फिल्म अभिनेता श्रीकांत मोघे का आयु संबंधी बीमारियों से पीड़ित होने के बाद पुणे में निधन हो गया है। वह 91 वर्ष के थे।
