KVIC distributes 60,000 khadi masks to school children in Arunachal Pradesh
KVIC has provided double-layered, tri-color Cotton face masks to Arunachal Pradesh Government with its logo suitably placed on the masks. The face masks in tri-color also aims at instilling a sense of nationalism among the students. Thousands of school children in Arunachal Pradesh will be sporting tri-color Khadi Face Masks as they return to their schools for the first time post-COVID-19 lockdown.

PM Modi to unveil life-size statue of Swami Vivekananda at JNU campus
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will unveil the life-size statue of Swami Vivekananda at the campus of Jawaharlal Nehru University through video conferencing. Minister for Education Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank will be present on the occasion.

Rajnath Singh unveils model of Anti-Satellite Missile at DRDO Bhawan
A model of Anti-Satellite Missile installed inside the DRDO Bhawan premises was unveiled by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh. ‘Mission Shakti’ was the country’s first ever Anti-Satellite (A-SAT) Missile Test successfully conducted on 27th March 2019 from Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Island in Odisha, where a fast-moving Indian orbiting target satellite in Low Earth Orbit was neutralised with pinpoint accuracy.

FM Nirmala Sitharaman attends 1st BRICS Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors Meeting
Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman participated in the 1st BRICS Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors’ Meeting under the Russian Chairmanship to discuss the BRICS Economic and Financial Cooperation agenda for 2020. During the meeting, the Finance Minister also presented India’s views on discussions related to infrastructure investments and New Development Bank membership expansion.

Infosys launches integrated Applied AI offering
Infosys Ltd launched ‘Infosys Applied AI’, an integrated offering to help enterprises build a roadmap to scale artificial intelligence (AI) across their businesses. The offering “converges the power of AI, analytics, and cloud to deliver new business solutions and perceptive experiences. With Infosys applied AI, businesses can readily access, deploy and contextualize services from the applied AI cloud,” Infosys said in a statement.

Social media start up Fishbowl launches in India
US-based social media startup Fishbowl that helps professionals to connect within their companies and industries is launching in India to tap professionals from consulting and IT sector. The four-year-old social media platform connects professionals within the industry and community-related bowls (groups) that allow verified professionals to have candid conversations with other people working in roles and industries similar to their own.
