Is it mandatory to appear for SSC CGL Tier II Paper IV in order to qualify for the SSC CGL Examination? | No, you need not appear for Paper IV of SSC CGL Tier II Exam in order to be eligible for it. If you do not opt for Paper IV under CGL tier II Exam then you would be eligible for all the posts except AAO post. |
What is the age criteria to apply for SSC CGL? | Minimum Age to apply for SSC CGL written exam is 18 years and maximum age limit is 32 years. |
Is negative marking applicable in SSC CGL? | There will be negative marking of 0.5 for each wrong answer in Tier-I. In Tier-II, there is negative marking system of 0.25 for each wrong answer in paper II – English Language & Comprehension and 0.50 for each wrong answer in Paper-I, Paper III and Paper IV of Tier II. |
How many times can I appear for SSC CGL exam? | There is no limit to appear for the SSC CGL exam, until you cross the age limit. |
I wear spectacles. Will I still be eligible for the Income-tax Inspector post? | Yes, you are eligible for the income tax inspector post. However, for other categories like SI you should not have an eye defect. |
Is Tier 3 qualifying in SSC CGL? | Yes, Tier 3 is qualifying in nature. |
Is there any interview in SSC CGL Exam? | No, there is no interview in the SSC CGL exam. |
Can I apply twice for SSC CGL? | You can fill the SSC CGL application form only once in a year. Multiple entries are not allowed. |
